Circus Juventas
Circus Juventas, a non-profit circus performing arts school for youth, is dedicated to inspiring artistry and self-confidence through a multicultural circus arts experience. Through world-class training and innovative programs, Circus Juventas creates an environment that encourages youth to pursue excellence and community service. Like Blaze, Circus Juventas strives to better their community by providing extraordinary opportunities to youth, making this partnership transcend the ordinary.
Circus Juventas was founded in 1994. Beginning as an after-school program in a neighborhood recreation center with 30 students, they have grown to offer year-round programming to nearly 1,000 students. Today, Circus Juventas is the largest performing arts youth circus school in North America. Passionate about providing opportunities to all youth (regardless of socio-economic status), Circus Juventas offers a scholarship fund which supports over 200 youth per year. This fund also supports their work with other non-profit organizations with similar missions.
Circus Juventas believes in fostering a sense of belonging so that all who walk through their doors feel welcome, valued, and inspired. They continue to reach new levels of excellence by empowering their students and creating mesmerizing performances.
Circus Juventas and Blaze
Blaze has been a proud partner of Circus Juventas since 2019. This partnership continues to reach new heights through many collaborative efforts. This includes the private Blaze Balcony located on-site at Circus Juventas' big top, performances at the Blaze Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Event, and the support of galas, community events, and various fundraising initiatives.
